I bought two of these for my husband’s birthday. We first sampled using this method of cooking steak on the stone whilst on holiday in Portugal in 2000 and then again last September.
However, we weren’t aware that a whole range of steak stones were available for domestic use, until, I fell upon SteakStones website. What an amazing range of products!
Steak cooked to your own perfection every time and fun to do. We can’t wait to have people round for dinner so they can enjoy their own experience of cooking steak to their liking.
As mentioned in a previous review, we heated our stones in the oven and the stone kept hot throughout. The products are very easy to clean afterwards too!

Took me a while to work out if the stone was hot enough, but apart from that everything was great. I think I will buy a thermometer from SteakStones before I use again.
