Mastering the Perfect Sirloin
SteakStones offer the best way to cook a Sirloin steak, allowing you to enjoy every bite deliciously seared on the outside, while still succulent on the inside.

For a sirloin steak with a little more theatre, flavour and control, SteakStones turns the cooking itself into part of the experience.
Start by placing the stones directly under your broiler as close to the heat element as possible for 45-60mins. This will get the stone to a perfect 600f delivering a delightful sear to your meat, fish or vegetables.
While your stones are heating, you have plenty of time to prep your favourite sides which can be served on our Serving Sets. To test the temperature of the stone, carefully drop a teaspoon of water onto the surface – when it sizzles and evaporates quickly, your stone is ready. Using heat-resistant gloves, carefully transfer the stone to its bamboo base and bring it straight to the table.
Place your seasoned sirloin onto the sizzling stone and listen for that unmistakable sear as the high heat begins to caramelise the outside. Allow the steak to develop a rich, golden crust before turning it, then slice it into generous pieces and let each piece continue cooking directly on the stone.
You can of course even use add on your prepped vegetables and sides to sizzle on the stone as well. This is where the SteakStones experience really comes into its own: rather than committing the entire steak to one level of doneness, you can cook each slice to suit your preference.
Enjoy some pieces rare and succulent, leave others sizzling for medium or allow them to cook further for a more well-done finish. The natural stone continues to retain its heat at the table, keeping your sirloin warm and giving you the freedom to cook every bite exactly as you like it – making a classic sirloin steak feel like a restaurant-quality dining experience at home.
