Prime Fillet Steak with Potato Rosti & Asparagus

In many peoples opinion, the finest Steak on the Stone meal there is. Ask your butcher for some steak cut from the middle of the fillet and serve with seasonal vegetables and your sauces of choice for a meal that you can enjoy again and again.

Choice of Fillet Steak:

Your local butcher is likely to have some fine fillet steak but you will pay a hefty premium for the fact it is well hung. You should be able to pick up some nicely trimmed cuts at your local supermarket which won’t have been hung for as long, but when cooked on the stone can prove just as tasty, for a fraction of the cost. Ask for a deep cut from the middle of the fillet end and you should get the perfect piece of steak for your stone.
