The Best Way to Cook a Ribeye Steak
SteakStones offer the best way to cook a Ribeye steak, allowing you to enjoy every bite deliciously seared on the outside, while still succulent on the inside.
To create the ultimate Ribeye experience with SteakStones, begin by heating your lava cooking stone. The easiest way to do this is directly under your broiler as close to the heat element as possible for 45-60mins. This will get the stone well above 600f delivering a perfect sear to your meat, fish or vegetables.
While the stone is heating, you will have plenty of time to prep your preferred sides and sauces, which all are part of our Steak Plate and Sauces Set. Plate up your sides and sauces just before you pull the stone from the heat. Once you're ready, quickly but carefully transfer the stone using your Safe Hands Gloves and place it securely onto its SteakStones base.
Rub a coat of cooking oil on the heated stone with some blue roll or kitchen towel then place your prepared rib-eye steak (seasoned with just a generous coating of salt and pepper) directly onto the sizzling stone where the intense heat will create a delicious, seared exterior.
Turn the steak so that the entire outside is seared and then you can slice into individual pieces which will continue cooking directly on the hot stone. This allows you to control the doneness of every bite, leaving pieces on the stone for longer for a more well-done finish or removing them sooner for a rare or medium-rare result.
As the natural stone retains its heat throughout your meal, your Ribeye will continue to sizzle at the table, creating the unique interactive dining experience that SteakStones is known for. It also traps all the succulence and flavour into each bite, and it is scientifically proven that our tastebuds experience more flavours in hot food, so this really is the best way to enjoy the perfect Ribeye steak.
